I often get asked if I have any good ideas for my brides before they start their registries... The answer is YES because I am constantly thinking in my head "Why couldn't that have been out 10.5 years ago when I was doing my registry?" My husband and I had quite a large wedding guest list so we were fortunate enough to get quite a bit to start us off on our married journey, however 10 years later I would have done things a little differently!!! For instance I would not have picked such drastic color pieces and ran with it--literally I got so much RED entertaining items that don't go with anything now, and we ended up getting rid of a lot of it. I did keep my red margarita glasses from Crate and Barrel though for when Cinco de Mayo rolls around. I would stick to more neutral pieces that will be timeless and add pops of color here and there. Yes I would agree maybe gold flatware will go out, but its so freaking pretty I would still get it or even some pretty copper flatware:)
