Johanna and Ian were hands down some of the sweetest people I have ever got to work with. Every single detail was perfect and thought out. We would have a blast at our design meetings, and I really am so incredibly sad that it is all over. Johanna knew right away she wanted El Chorro as her venue. In fact she inquired with me on a Saturday night while I was working another wedding, and when I emailed her back that night she was so excited to get started we were at El Chorro the next day!

It seems as AFTER the fact I always get these emails or messages on how a bride had a sparkler exit, but the photos were not what she had expected. The sparkler exit can be a tricky thing, and even though it looks like it just happens naturally--normally to get the shots that I post there came a tiny coaching session on what to do. First 95% of the time I am dealing with 150 drunk people and fire--that alone is tricky.

My daughter, Lola, turned 5 yesterday. She had gone back and forth on what kind of party she wanted for 2 months, but ultimately decided for a Princess Tiana party. The first thing I did was make sure I could get Princess Tiana herself on the day and time that we wanted because you really can't have a princess party without the princess--am I right?!? After securing her in all honestly I did nothing until 3 days prior. I had talked with my favorite girls over at Ruze Cake House about doing a modern spin on the cake, and ordered balloon tape to make the garland and that was it.
