We landed at lunch time Monday so after checking in to our hotel we raced out to grab some lunch. BBQ is kind of a big deal to my husband so I knew we would be hitting up as many as possible. I will list them all below, but only one place to me deserves to be mentioned twice, so Peg Leg Porker was both of our overall favorite—so if you are headed to Nashville head there for sure!!! Our 2nd day started off with breakfast in bed, and then more pool time. After working up an appetite we had lunch pool side, and then swam some more. Later that evening we attended a family canvas painting class--which Lola loved!!! After that class ended the kids went to the hotel's kids camp, and Mark and I snuck off to the bar for appetizers and cocktails in peace!

Sunday morning we woke up and headed down for breakfast before hitting the pool again. After a few hours of going back and forth from the pool to playing in the kids club contests we had some lunch, and then headed to hit their river up!!! The river is this crazy hidden gem that you don't even know is there.

Last weekend my family and I had the pleasure of staycationing at the Sheraton Grand Wild Horse Pass Resort. This little gem is about 20 minutes from our house, but you literally feel like you left the state as soon as you arrive as it is nestled back in to the desert off the main road. We were greeted with the cutest gift baskets in each of our adjoining rooms--one for the kids filled with stuffed horses, candy, and a desert Dr. Seuss book, while ours had cute cactus shot glasses, a bottle of wine, and a cute desert tote!
