I actually don't even know how I have been married 11 years let alone have 3 kids... But here we are. I always think back to the newly wed stage (probably because of my job) and get a little envious of those just starting out. It was so care free back then and you ALWAYS had date nights!!! That is one of the BIGGEST reasons I loved this photo shoot--I wanted to capture what life is like now. I want to look back 30 years from now, and see that we were still in love. That even with the kids running around, working like crazy, taking the kids to all their activities we still put each other 1st, and were happy.

I know not everyone is having warm weather right now, but this week in Arizona it is gorgeous out! Concocting up cocktails is kind of one of my husband and I's thing so naturally warmer weather means SANGRIA! We spend a lot of time outside here playing corn hole or just watching the kids play so an ice cold beverage ALWAYS sounds like a good idea to me.

When we were building our house 3 years ago the builder didn't necessarily have the exact options for the kitchen that I had been dreaming of--so my husband I made the decision to just get the cabinets through them and do a mini remodel a couple years down the line. I was the little girl that watched Father of the Bride 5000 times by the time I graduated high school so when I walked in to Mackenzie's home for our 1st design consultation images of swans and rainbows perfectly arching over her home kept flashing thru my mind all the while I could hear Franc's voice in the background. That is how stunning her childhood home is, and it was a blast designing and planning with her and Sarah's Garden!!! We changed our design a few times before nailing it with these hues of grey, blush, & green! It really had a romantic organic feel to it, and I think it turned out perfect.
