Back in December I co-hosted a floral workshop at my home with Sarah from Sarah's Garden. Well today I got to take all the stuff I learned that night and put it to use, and Oh My Goodness it was so fun!!! I went to the floral wholesaler this morning and went straight to work when I got home. I was shocked at how easily I remembered her instruction. I bought 5 different kinds of floral. 2 solid green fillers and 3 with white floral.

Every wedding I do I get the same question asked as the big day arises about what to include in the welcome basket/bag. I thought I would put together my ideal welcome gift for an Arizona bride, but it can be easily adjusted for other states. First you need to pick what type of item you will be filling--mine is a sturdy bag over a basket just because it is easier to travel back home with. I always tell my couples to make a list of some of their favorites, and then include a couple local items unique to Arizona.

Stefanie was beyond adorable and had tons of ideas. She called me maybe 6 weeks prior to her wedding wanting to know if I would simply meet with her for a couple hours and tell her if what she had done already worked and if she had forgotten anything. I had never been asked this before and was intrigued so we scheduled it! I told her every piece of info I needed her to bring to make this meeting efficient and worth both of our time. I went through her layouts, her floral estimate, her timeline she had started, and a couple other odds and ends--and we ROCKED it!!!

Decorating our master bedroom is underway, and possibly the most important item for the room to be complete has arrived!!! I was shocked at how many people wanted me to let them know what I thought about Tuft & Needle which is why it now has its own blog post!
We have been sleeping on our Tuft & Needle mattress now for about 2 weeks, and I can honestly say

We have been in our home now for 3.5 years, and our master bedroom is STILL NOT done!!! It takes me an eternity to make a decision when it comes to decorating. As of now the dalmatian wall is done, our bed and dresser are bought even though there is not 1 decor item on the dresser, and my beloved gold foil LOVE signs are hung, but besides that the rest of the walls need to be painted, there are no curtains, bedding, wall art or throw pillows. This is what I am using as inspiration to finish our room. I think this white bedding with a simple black border will pair amazing with the dalmatian wall that is behind our bed. I am honestly not sure if my husband will let me swing the pink, but I will try. I am also having a hard time trying to decided what color to paint the rest of the walls, but am leaning towards white. Lastly I can not wait til we can put woodlike floors in, and get rid of this builder carpet!!! Feel free to tag me in any fun decor items you guys find that I might want!!!
Happy Monday!!!
