As soon as I had my consult with Blair I was so excited to get to planning. From the beginning she knew she wanted a desert vibe, and she was willing to get risky with it!!! Blair and Jason live in the Bay area, and we booked her venue and every vendor without her ever coming here—HA! She was so trusting though that it worked out, and the results were awesome. We held their ceremony not even at the ceremony site at Gray hawk to give them more of a desert vibe. The copper chairs glistened in the sunlight and guests were in awe as they walked up…especially since most were from out of town. The guests were greeted with tequila shots out of salt glasses before they sat down to really get the southwest feel going. From the very beginning Blair made it clear she did not want flowery floral…she wanted dried textures. The pampas grass mixed with the sand colored roses were the perfect balance.
