Backyard weddings just might be my favorite. I love how different and unique they all get to be. They also have such a homey feel that you just don't get at a venue. Catherine and Craig's wedding took place at Craig's parent's beautiful home. It had a very boho laid back feel with a modern zing. The mismatched rugs going down the aisle complete with candles in modern vases were the perfect touch for their ceremony. We had 2 boho inspired seating arrangements complete with more rugs at the reception area of the yard. Part of the reason this wedding was so fun is that I literally got to be a part of EVERY detail that happened. This cute little bus that was the bar was of course a huge hit. Every little area had a fun laid back vibe. Even though backyard weddings are my favorite to design they are also the most stressful. If you think about it they come with nothing. There is no staff, no extra silverware, no extra generators etc. so you have to be on your A game and make sure you thought of EVERYTHING! We could not have asked for a better outcome on this magical day--it was perfect!!!
