Michelle & Derek are one of the sweetest couples I have ever worked with to date. Derek was the rare groom who was very involved in the planning and design process of their wedding. He even video documented the whole process, and I have to say his end result was amazing! Michelle is STRIKING when you see her--she literally looked like a VOGUE Bride model in all of her photos. From the very beginning she knew she wanted to incorporate a black and white stripe, and have the accent color be apple green. The venue they chose had a solid white back drop so the stripes looked awesome everywhere we put them--I even had a custom black and white stripe aisle runner made since the ceremony floors were all white! One layer of Michelle's cake was mimicked to look like the ruffled texture on her dress, and is one of my favorites sitting at 6 tiers tall. Black and white swirled suckers were used in the escort card display to show the guests where they would sit. Then to add just the right amount of fall we had individual dipped caramel apples sitting at everyone's place setting when that walked in.
