I had the amazing opportunity to attend Gather AZ a few months ago, and it was so much fun!!! Leah & Matt from Tremaine Ranch & Erica Marr from Ericka Marr Films put on a fantastic social event for vendors, and I got to to meet so many awesome people. You can never go wrong with food trucks, a bar on wheels, & a photo booth in the back of a VW Van! The weather was great and everyone ate their food at these cute wood tables family style under the stars and bistro lights. The idea of community over competition really is a breath of fresh air.
The event was such a hit that they have decided to throw another one and re-brand the name so that it has the potential to travel!!! It is now called The Ivy Event... "As Ivy vine grows, it sets roots into the soil deeply and densely, and creates a network of roots which binds the soil, helping to prevent erosion and slippage on slopes. Ivy has the ability to climb almost any vertical surface, clinging by means of aerial roots. Once established Ivy plants will rapidly cover any wall or fence with lush evergreen foliage. The Ivy Event is excited to promote growing a stable and healthy creative community that is lush and grows rapidly when surrounded with like minded individuals who are interested in building a community, establishing new relationships and supporting local business. The Ivy Event is ready to create a network of roots within the creative industry. The next event will be on October 20th, 2016 at The Vintage 45 in downtown Phoenix. Tickets will be going on sale soon, but for now, please take a peak and reflect on the last event with photographs from Danielle Apple Photography. Cheers!"
