My daughter, Lola, turned 5 yesterday. She had gone back and forth on what kind of party she wanted for 2 months, but ultimately decided for a Princess Tiana party. The first thing I did was make sure I could get Princess Tiana herself on the day and time that we wanted because you really can't have a princess party without the princess--am I right?!? After securing her in all honestly I did nothing until 3 days prior. I had talked with my favorite girls over at Ruze Cake House about doing a modern spin on the cake, and ordered balloon tape to make the garland and that was it.Read More
This past weekend my baby turned 4!!! How this happened I have no idea, but she knew she wanted a My Little Pony Tea Party so I obliged. I didn't really start doing anything for it til 2 days prior so these will be some very easy last minute ideas for you the next time your planning a little shin dig. Once she gave me the go ahead on the theme there was no turning off all the ideas from flowing freely. We went with a pretty girly palette of pink, but had lots of other bright colors as well. The 1st thing I always like to do is come up with a source of entertainment for the kids--I knew with this we had to find a way to have REAL UNICORNS for the kids to ride.Read More
